My friend died at 35. His sudden death is the swift kick in the butt I needed to send this email. I procrastinated on sending it because I was unsure how you'd react to the changes I will share. 

I am excited you joined me along my journey via the "Discovering by Design" blog or because of my book "In Search of the Pink Flamingo". So, I wanted the perfect words to share the changes that rippled from my journey since 2020...

• 2020 - I almost lost my mind - nothing like nearly losing THE THING that keeps you in control to make you question your priorities.
• 2021 - I walked away from corporate - I obeyed God. Hands down the scariest thing I ever did. Especially with only 3 months of savings.
• 2023 - I released my first book - This is just the beginning. A second one is in the works.
• 2024 - I moved to my soul home - yep! I left everything I thought I wanted before 2021 and moved to St. Kitts.

I started this email with a confession. I procrastinated for weeks to send you this email because I was worried about what you'd think. My recovering people pleasing and control freak ways still bite me in the butt...even as I champion a call and inspire you to "serve others in ways that honor you, them and God." aka, be your pink flamingo self. 

We are not perfect...and I human daily! Yet God continues to partner with me to turn my life upside down to turn me right side up into my ever-maturing Pink Flamingo self. He can do the same with you.

I won't keep you waiting! Here is my news: We are rebranding to flamingoes! 🦩 Yes, I said we. You are a part of this flock whether you've rocked with me since 2015 or later...

In September 2024, Discovering by Design is rebranding to "The Pink Flamingo Way", a place where you are empowered to love and show up for others and yourself as you honor God. You matter too!  Whether you are a parent, business owner, sibling, employee, friend, son, daughter...

And, if you remain in the flock, here is what you can expect:

• Get inspired - Be the first to get transparent reflections about my journey showing up for others, God and myself EVERY MONTH!
• Get back pocket mentorship - Use weekly reflections about my experiences and the practical bible-inspired epiphanies that God teaches me along my journey.
• Expand the flock - Give gifts to help Caribbean children own their pink. Support child emotional wellness education or the emotional recovery of child sexual abuse survivors.
• Get behind the scenes - Get all the inside stories about my book writing journey. Book 2 is in the works and apparently this week I'm a Christian sailor 😂
